A very sexy cat woman by Daniela Uhlig. [via]

Speaking of cats (ish), check out these illustrations of The Cat Avengers available on Etsy for your buying pleasure. I mean come on, the Avengers as cats, kind of amazing. [via]

Jasmine as a zombie? Yes, please. I love this illustration titled Tainted Love by leagueof1. Awesome! [via]

Haven returns in September, I am so super excited I’m bouncing up and down in my chair. I love that show! You can watch a teaser trailer here.

Want a TARDIS blanket to keep you warm this winter and maybe make you a little dizzy? (Honestly, I’m not sure I could crochet this blanket without getting vertigo.) Check out this TARDIS Wormhole blanket. Thanks to Michelle for the tip!

And Stephanie this one is for you, and why didn’t you tell me about this? A Velociraptor in Melbourne!!! This is awesome, I mean the person in the velociraptor suit has the movements down awesomely. Plus, I love the crowds reaction. (Note, this video is from two years ago.) [via io9]

I don’t know if I asked you but what did you think of her as Catwoman?

Yah, I haven’t seen the new Batman movie. I know, I know. I literally don’t have the time to watch movies right now. This weekend my improv class is over and that will free up my Sundays, I’m hoping to watch some movies I’ve been anticipating!

Totally get it..sometimes I think nowadays there isn’t that much difference in getting the DVD and actually going to the theater! I am curious about the improv class..are you an actress or is it comedy..or? :)

I did amateur theater in high school etc. and I loved it. Recently a friend suggested (after an animated story telling) that I try an improv class. I find it funny and highly entertaining. I’m not all that sure if I’m good or not, but I make my classmates laugh, and that is good enough for me.

Also, apparently, I’m rather intense every time I get up to do a scene and mostly I make people laugh because of my facial expressions. . . So, yah.

Eee, had no idea about the velociraptor!

We do have a whole bunch of painted elephants scattered around the city at the moment, if that helps. I can take some pics! We also had a creepy devil baby exhibit last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QlUHcDV0S8

    Ah, Melbourne!

We’ve had painted animals all around also, but now I forget what kind of animal. That demon creepy baby thing is disturbing, I couldn’t even watch the entire video. The only creepy thing we had was that gigantic eyeball. It was so out of context in the spot that they put it, that I was weirded out every time I had to pass it on my way to the library.

FYI Pritzker “Park” is a green lawn next to an el station between a university and the library where there are generally a dozen homeless men sleeping or asking for money as well as a camp ground for those college students who get people to sign petitions about saving the whales. And then- The Eye. It was truly bizarre and is no longer around.
