I love this Pirate/Mermaid costume, while the top half looks chilly the bottom half looks warm.

Love all of those especially Beauty and The Beast..I think people view fairytales as more cheery than they actually are..the original stories were much more grim and harsh edged..they were softened down in later translations!

I agree. I love when people try to get back to the roots of fairy tales and morality stories to scare children. While I enjoy the Disneyfication of things to some extent, I also like the edgier side too.
