I love this webcomic Head Trip mashing up different Doctor Who villains into a mixture of awesomeness. Or how about this one about a Dalek doing robocalls. Honestly, you guys need to start following HeadTrip its a geeky person’s dream webcomic. 🙂 She doesn’t always update consistently, but put her on your RSS feed and when her comics show up, it will make your day. It always makes mine!
This TARDIS dress looks like something I would rather sleep in, and as for a night gown it is a little pricey at almost $30. But it is still super cool and I wouldn’t say no to a free TARDIS nightdress. 🙂 But I’m not really sure what else I would expect from a dress that is only be sold at Hot Topic. I guess with Halloween right around the corner it’s an easy and fairly cheap costume, especially if you could find a fez. [via the Mary Sue]
And if you are walking around Boystown on Halloween looking to get into one of the fun bars, realize you will have to stand in probably the rain for a bit or two, can I recommend using this TARDIS messenger bag, big enough to hold your costume touch-up costume kit? Super cool purses/bags and now I really want one! [via RIASS]
I stumbled across this awesome cartoonish illustration of the 10th Doctor and the 11th Doctor having snack time. It is super adorable.
And now the best for last. This video is about a deleted scene from the latest episode of Doctor Who. So, if you have not seen the latest episode, DO NOT WATCH THIS. It is extremely spoilery. AGAIN, SPOILERS!!! But for those of you who have, this is awesome, and sorta explains a few more things, and sorta makes things more complicated. Either way I loved it! [via The Bloggess]
I love that video of the cut scene..I wondered about Rory’s dad and how he would respond..wish they had filmed it!
I totally agree! Poor Brian. 😦
Yeah, I wish they’d filmed it too. I knew this was online somewhere but I hadn’t had a chance to watch it. Sometimes, with deleted scenes, they provide some interesting extra info that’s nice to know, but not necessary… I guess the director and producers thought this was the case… but honestly… this really needed to be in the ep. Every fan was left wondering about poor Brian…
Yah, I usually understand why something wasn’t filmed, but I agree that added a lot that was missing from the ending of the Amy/Rory era. I’m glad I found this at least.
Yes… poor Brian. I like how it reflected Blink though… they’re both favourite episodes but then, I like all the angel episodes anyway LOL And any angel ep with River is an added bonus!
I agree, I love the Angel episodes. And River really made that episode cohesive, as far as the story line goes. It was fitting, even if Brian was a little looked over.
The cut scene was great, even if it was kind of already done in “Blink” when Kathy sent her grandson to visit Sally Sparrow. I do hope they include it as a special feature on the DVD when they release it
I do think it would have been nice for some sort of explanation as to Brian had been part of the episode, whether in this manner or another. And I agree, hopefully it is a special feature in future releases.
I agree they needed to do an explanation for Brian, I just wish they’d come up with something a little more original, though the list of possible alternatives is rather limited….perhaps a grand-daughter instead of a grandson? Nah.
I don’t know, there are plenty of ways to leave messages from the past. It wouldn’t necessarily have to be through a relation.
I also remarked to a friend the yesterday that more women who would be willing to wear TARDIS dresses/corsets/etc should move to my neighbourhood….
I have loved nearly every TARDIS dress I’ve seen, people get very creative!
How can a bunch of sketches and a piano tune be so…. effective?
Sincere emotions win out every time.
